PROJECT FUNDING SERVICES

PGUM provides assistance in the field of national and international project funds towards to public (Municipalities, Ministries, etc) and private (SMEs, large scale companies) sector and NGOs. The manin basis of this assistance is twofold;

  • Determination of the appropriate project fund (EU, TÜBITAK, TEYDEB, TTGV, KOSGEB, etc) in line with the project management capacity and the needs of your organization.
  • Consultancy services in the process of application to project funding agencies.

PGUM, provides training sessions in order to share its experience and expertise with the participants. In these trainings, main structure, scope and purposes of the national (inc. TÜBITAK-TEYDEB, KOSGEB, TTGV) and international project funds such as EU are introduced and detailed.

Content of the training sessions are determined exclusively depending on the needs and status of the participants.

Main headings of the trainings are given below:

National Project Funds: In these trainings, main national funding sources for R&D projects are introduced. Participants are informed on possible national project funds in line with their company’s needs. Main purposes, scopes and participation conditions to these programs are evaluated.

EU Funds For Turkey: These trainings are focused on basic structure of EU grant programs. In the first step, the structures and the main objectives of the EU funds are evaluated. Besides, Turkey’s participation strategies to these programs and specific project funds for specific sectors / organizations are undertaken.

Also, the conditions of EU funds are evaluated, the project proposal preparation methods are considered, and the policy and process of the proposals are explained.

EU 7th Framework Program: This training includes the basic specifications, structures, and goals of EU 7th Framework Program (FP7). In the training the main goals of FP7 and the types / profiles of the projects that can be financed by the FP are also identified. Beside this, Turkey’s participation conditions to the Program are inquired. The importance of FP7 for Turkey is stressed. The other components of the trainings are as follows: project evaluation and decision making processes, implementation instruments.

Policies and Processes Projects should be compatible with EU fund requirements. Thus, PGUM provides necessary information for the operation of the project process accurately. PGUM also forms a road map on the policies that should be followed for a successful EU fund management process.

Preperation of The Project Proposals: Preparation of the project proposals is a time-taking process that requires utmost importance. The preparation period is probably the most important phase that affects the project’s destiny. PGUM, provides training seminars in light of its previous experiences.

Project Cycle: One should not forget that project concept should be taken into consideration as a dynamic and multiphase process instead of a static one. These phases, forming a logical concordance, are named as “Project Cycle”. Project cycle concept includes phases such as; project development, preparation, analysis, implementation and evaluation. Each phase should be considered as a whole.

Logical Framework is the EU’s project cycle application. The organizations that apply for EU grant programs should plan and edit the project cycle in an excellent way using the Logical Framework. In order to achieve a well planned / established project cycle, trainings create an important advantage.

PGUM, provides training sessions focused on Project Cycle Management in light of its in dept expertise in this area.

Project Management: Management of the EU financed projects is the key factor of success. Since the granting period is considered as a very difficult process, a weak project management period is an unacceptable mistake. PGUM has been providing training seminars on Project Management to minimize that risk.

Project Samples: An order to embody the project management concept, it is a must to review and investigate the successful / unsuccessful project samples. In the "Project Samples" training that is conducted by PGUM, our experts share their experiences. In the training, the hiding details are evaluated and anecdotes are shared.
